Eight Ford Mustangs travel one of the most spectacular routes on the Costa Blanca, from Bar A’Brasa to Cabo de San Antonio and Dénia, enjoying scenic roads, Mediterranean views and local cuisine.
A Breakfast Worth Getting Up Early For
What happens when eight Ford Mustangs, a genuine Spanish breakfast of grilled meats, homemade flatbreads and sandwiches, spectacular roads and some of the best views on the Costa Blanca all come together on a sunny Sunday morning?
The answer is simple: an unforgettable driving experience.

Last Sunday, a group of Mustang enthusiasts gathered at Bar A’Brasa in Pedreguer, beside the N-332, to enjoy one of those morning meetups that are attracting ever more fans of classic and sports cars. Over coffees, sandwiches and the unmistakable sound of V8 engines, everything was set for a route that would take in some of the most impressive scenery in the Marina Alta.
The Route: From Bar A’Brasa to Cabo de San Antonio
After breakfast, the convoy headed towards Jávea along the CV-734, later joining the CV-7361 — a road that combines sweeping bends, wide panoramic views and ideal driving for getting the most out of any grand tourer.
As the road climbs higher, the landscape changes completely. Mediterranean fields give way to pine forests and natural viewpoints where glimpses of the sea appear between the mountains. The route strikes the perfect balance between driving pleasure and taking in the surroundings.
The destination was the spectacular Cabo de San Antonio, one of the most iconic natural spots on the Costa Blanca. Perched above impressive cliffs overlooking the Mediterranean, this viewpoint offers exceptional views of the bay of Dénia and, on the clearest days, even allows you to make out the silhouette of Ibiza on the horizon.
It is one of those places that never disappoints, no matter how many times you visit.
The Montgó Road: A Must for Driving Enthusiasts
After taking in the views and enjoying a well-earned rest, the group continued towards Dénia along the famous Montgó road.
Few routes in the Valencian Community offer such an appealing combination of scenery and driving. The imposing outline of the Montgó accompanies drivers for much of the journey, creating a spectacular backdrop that constantly changes with every bend.
The road winds through pine forests, rural areas and spots offering magnificent views of the mountain and coastline. It is a route that invites you to enjoy the journey at a leisurely pace, savouring every kilometre and every view.
It comes as no surprise that many motoring enthusiasts consider this one of the finest scenic roads on the Costa Blanca.
A Perfect Ending at Las Jasmines
Every great route deserves a great ending, and Restaurante Las Jasmines, set beside the sea in Dénia, was the ideal place to round off the day in style.
With the Mediterranean as a backdrop and a relaxed atmosphere, the participants shared stories, talked about future routes and enjoyed an excellent meal while gazing out at the sea.
It was the perfect conclusion to a morning in which a passion for cars, great roads and the landscapes of the Marina Alta came together beautifully.

A Route Every Motoring Fan Should Discover
For those looking for one of the best driving routes on the Costa Blanca, this trip has all the ingredients: a genuine Spanish breakfast, scenic roads, exciting bends, stunning Mediterranean views and excellent food.
From Bar A’Brasa to Cabo de San Antonio, taking in the spectacular Montgó road and finishing in Dénia, this route shows why the Costa Blanca is one of the favourite destinations for driving enthusiasts in Spain.
Because some routes are remembered not for the distance covered, but for the experiences lived along the way. And this Mustang gathering was, without doubt, one of them.
